Everyone's Welcome has a story attached to it. When you listen, close your eyes and imagine a couple who whilst taking their daily exercise during lockdown together, pass an abandoned theatre where music emanates from the door. A well groomed gentleman in a 3-piece suit from a bygone age beckons to the two of them to go inside.

They nervously enter to find a spectacular hall in its decadent prime. A dazzling ballroom with couples waltzing around in glamorous sequin ballgowns and suits, 2 men together in dinner jackets, 2 flappers smiling into each other's eyes - free from repression; senior citizens very much in love slowly ebbing in time to the music. The nerves subside for the modern day couple as they join the dance. Their clothes switched to their setting.

They become lost in the music, forgetting that outside these walls the world is in the first throes of the stay-at-home Lockdown. They dance like stars, madly in love as their fellow dancers one by one turns to acknowledge them. It is a scene of pure magic.

As the music gently ebbs away the couples around them stop to applaud them. They reciprocate but feel compelled to go. There's a breeze blowing as the faces gently fade away.

Leaving the ballroom they take one last look behind them; the lights have dimmed, the old hall descending back into its ruined, lost splendour..

The couple leave and continue their walk home where it has begun to rain.

Fades.

Open your eyes again. Did you see what I saw?
